Why the Act of Kindness? Why Can’t I start my own?
Whilst we want to spread kindness wherever we can, the Act of Kindness name and concept is protected by Copyright to ensure that by joining the Act of Kindness, schools and sponsors become part of a larger community participating in a joint philosophy.
What if our school can’t get a Sponsor?
You can email the Act of Kindness and we will endeavour to find someone to act as sponsor.
Can a business/organisation sponsor more than one school?
Yes, we have a Council who is currently supporting 3 schools.
Can a school have more than one sponsor per year?
Yes, so long as the full sponsorship money is paid upon registration.
What is the sponsor wishes to remain anonymous?
Registration details do not have to be made public but we do need a name for invoice purposes.
If I get sponsorship, can I register for more than one year?
Yes, if a sponsor is willing to support the Act of Kindness up to 3 years, the same annual fee applies if money is paid at time of initial registration. This is beneficial for sponsors as they avoid possible increases in sponsorship fees.
If I am a local school (Ballarat), why do I need to pay the full amount?
Because we are a community, and to be fair the cost is the same to everyone. This ensures that all schools, wherever they may be in Australia, no matter their circumstances are able to participate in the Act of Kindness. Your involvement in the Act in Kindness is in itself ‘an Act of Kindness.
